SICKLE CELL TRAIT PUBILC AWARENESS
The Sickle Cell Trait Public Awareness Program is rooted in the power of partnership. At Crescent Dream Foundation, we recognize that expanding awareness and encouraging informed health decisions requires collaboration across healthcare, public health, education, and community-based organizations throughout Rhode Island.

By working alongside hospitals, clinics, community leaders, advocacy groups, and trusted local institutions, we are increasing access to education around sickle cell trait and helping individuals better understand the importance of knowing their status. These partnerships allow us to meet people where they are, foster open dialogue, and ensure that families have the information needed to make confident decisions about their future.
Together with our partners, we are building a more informed and connected community — one that prioritizes early awareness, reduces stigma, and strengthens support for future generations.
